Nestled within the former World-Expo Park beside the Huangpu River, Shanghai Songcheng is a multi-floor immersive performing-arts theme park. Step through its gates and you travel across time: wander vintage streets recreating 1920s Old-Shanghai glamour, lose yourself in exotic bazaars and fairy-tale woodland zones.

Filled with dazzling stage productions, street flash mob performances, photo-ready sets and interactive installations, this all-weather destination unfolds vivid chapters of Shanghai's thousands-year-long history. With spectacular stage machinery, water effects, dance and acrobatics, it unfolds Shanghai's story from ancient river dredging by Lord Chunshen, the glamour of old Shanghai Bund, revolutionary years, through to the dynamic modern metropolis today. It is a heartfelt visual feast capturing Shanghai's Jiangnan heritage, Haipai culture and modern-day spirit.
