Daily Itinerary
Fly to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan. After arrival, enjoy a hands-on Sichuan cuisine cooking class and learn to make iconic dishes like Mapo Tofu and Kung Pao Chicken. Transfer to your hotel at Qingcheng Mountain.
Hike through waterfalls and bamboo forests up Qingcheng Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and holy land of Taoism. Visit Dujiangyan Panda Base to see China's adorable black-and-white icons up close.
Enjoy a relaxing family bicycle ride in the morning. Take the bullet train to Emeishan. In the afternoon, visit Baoguo Temple at the foot of Mount Emei, the largest temple on the mountain.
Hike or take a cable car up Mount Emei to the Ten Thousand Buddha Temple and the Golden Summit, standing at 3,077 meters with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and sea of clouds.
Stand in the presence of the 71-meter tall Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest stone Buddha on earth, carved into a cliff face over 1,000 years ago. Take the bullet train back to Chengdu for your departing flight.
